The CRRN team
Our team is made up of passionate reptile keepers and animal advocates who share a genuine commitment to improving welfare across the rescue community. With a combination of hands-on reptile keeping experience and veterinary backgrounds, they bring both practical knowledge and professional insight to the network. United by a common goal, the team works to support rescues, raise standards, and help ensure reptiles receive the care, respect, and outcomes they deserve.

Ollie Rawson
Founder/Director
Founder of the CRRN, I am an experienced reptile keeper, owning many species privately. I run the network alongside my full time job as a shift manager.
I am a strong believer in building a community of independent / home run rescues whilst encouraging and improving standards of welfare.
The overall goal is to build a network of rescues that are transparent in their processes, honest and responsible that will bring trust back to this sector of the community from the public and reptile hobby.

Rescue Welfare Liason Team Member
Founder of Redland's Reptile Rescue, a home based rescue in the North of England.
Ive always loved animals ,from a young age i have been obssessed. Personally ive kept reptiles for over 2 years now and the rescue has been established for 10 months. In that time we have succesfully rehomed up to 90 reptiles with new owners and gained a following of 1300 on the rescues social media, a feat im really proud of.
Before joining the CRRN i have helped three other rescues in the North East setup, through guidance on animal welfare and best practices as a rescue.
This was a huge part of why I applied for the role of welfare liason as I enjoy supporting others, advising and guiding to allow them to reach their full potential.
